About Us
JMF Materials was started in 1999 by Mike Flowers with two Peterbilt trucks hauling rock and sand for a company in East Texas. In 2003 he added additional vehicles and cement tankers to his fleet and began hauling cement and fly ash for the same customer, as well as adding additional customers in Central Texas. Most of those customers are still serviced by JMF Materials today.
In 2007, due to rapid growth of the company, JMF Materials, LLC and JMF Equipment, LLC were formed. In 2010, the fleet was expanded to include customers that haul frac sand to the booming oil business in the central United States. In 2012, LoneStar Pneumatics LLC was organized to allow JMF Materials LLC to pursue oil field contracts independent from the existing trucking business. The company is divided into three divisions: end-dumps hauling gravel, sand, and hadite to manufacturing facilities in Central Texas; cement tankers hauling to various concrete plants all over Texas, as well as several manufacturing plants in the same geographic area; and sand tankers hauling frac sand and other commodities to oil wells.
Currently, the End Dump vehicles are stationed in our yard in Hutto. Close enough to be reached by the main office in Cedar Park and in reach of mechanics our company has work history with. The other half of our fleet is staged in San Antonio at a yard with on location maintenance possibility to better meet the logistical needs of our customers.
